Catalyst Research Chronicles (CRC)

Article Processing Charge

Why an article processing charge applies to open access publishing, and how to ask about it.

Why a charge applies

CRC Journals provides immediate open access to all published content under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) license. Readers pay nothing, and authors keep the copyright of their work.

Open access publishers generally charge an article processing charge (APC) to cover publication costs. The charge may be paid by research sponsors, institutions or the authors themselves.

Charges

Charges can differ between journals. For the current charge that applies to your manuscript, and for questions about funding or waivers, contact the editorial office at editor@crcjournals.org.
