Open Access Policy
CRC Journals provides immediate open access to all published content.
What is open access?
Traditionally, subscription-based journal publishers or owners retain the copyright of published articles. Individuals or institutions wishing to access full-text articles must pay a subscription fee. Those seeking to use content in any format must obtain permission from the publisher or owner and may need to pay additional fees.
Open access makes research outputs available online to all readers without barriers. Authors retain the copyright of their work. Readers can use and share content as long as they follow the license adopted by the publisher. Publishers generally charge authors an article processing fee to cover publication costs, which may be paid by research sponsors, institutions or authors.
Our open access policy
Catalyst Research Chronicles (CRC Journals) provides immediate open access to all published content. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) license to support open access and academic exchange among researchers.
Under this license, authors retain copyright ownership of their work. They agree to make their original research fully available and free to use, copy and redistribute in any format without requiring permission, provided that the authors and the original source are properly cited.
Articles are freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or authors.
Why we support open access
Quicker and wider dissemination
Open access publishing enables a faster and broader distribution of academic research.
