Meet our leadership →Mission and Values
Our aim is to promote open scientific exchange in all forms and across all disciplines. These values guide how we publish.
Open access
Research is published openly under a CC BY license, giving free access to science and allowing content to be reused with proper attribution.
Rigorous peer review
Each manuscript is assessed by independent experts through a documented editorial process.
Research integrity
We follow COPE guidance and screen submissions for originality with iThenticate.
Transparency
Authors and reviewers know the steps, roles and timelines that apply to every submission.
Discoverability
Articles carry DOIs and structured metadata so they can be found, cited and linked.
Long-term preservation
Published content is archived so that the scholarly record stays available.
All Content Is Open Access and Free for Readers
All CRC content is published open access under a CC BY license, so anyone can read, share and reuse published research freely and immediately.
To fund this model, an article processing charge may apply to authors or their institutions rather than readers. Authors keep the copyright of their work.
Publication Ethics Statement
CRC Journals follows the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
Submissions are screened for originality with iThenticate. Allegations of misconduct are investigated following the COPE flowcharts, and actions can include correction or retraction.
