Appeals and Complaints

Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions or review reports during the editorial process. If you wish to submit an appeal, please contact the editorial office of Catalyst Research Chronicles (CRC Journal) directly at editor@crcjournals.org.

  • Appeal Considerations: Editors will consider appeals that present additional factual input, revisions, extra material in the manuscript, or concerns about conflicts of interest or biased peer review. Appeals must provide sufficient reasoning to warrant reconsideration of the editorial process or decision-making.
  • Peer Review Mediation: Editors will mediate all exchanges between authors and peer reviewers throughout the process. In some cases, editors may seek input from additional peer reviewers to help make the final decision.
  • Final Decision: The editor’s decision following an appeal is final, and author protests alone will not affect the editorial decision.

Complaints on Editorial Process or Publication Ethics

If you have concerns about the editorial process or publication ethics, please direct your complaint to the editorial office at editor@crcjournals.org. The editor responsible for the journal will handle complaints related to the editorial process.

  • Ethics Complaints: For complaints related to publication ethics, the editor will follow the guidelines established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
